Veteran cowboy star Jack Hoxie made literally hundreds of Western films from 1913 to 1933, with many different companies, primarily Universal. He toured with many circuses and rodeos, including the famed 101 Ranch show. This very rare poster is for one of his own shows, under his own banner. The historically important part of the poster is the center image, that of a cowgirl roping a steer. Hoxie himself had been married to a trick rider named Hazel Panky, and it's possible this is her image. Circus posters this size are difficult to come by since the majority of them were pasted up on outside building walls.
