Sport poster published to celebrate the sporting achievement of the Belgian cyclist Leon Vanderstuyft (1890-1964), who cycled a world record 125 kilometres and 815 metres in an hour behind motorcycle. Great design featuring the record breaking cyclist zooming along on his bike behind a motorcycle with 125kil. 815m dans l'heure marked behind him and a steam train locomotive above, a yellow arrow emphasising his speed with text and a small image of Leon Vanderstuyft in his cycling helmet below, including details on his 1922 Semi-Sprint world title, 1928 Australian Champion title, his victories in international events and his previous world records in 1924 and 1925 (Leon Vanderstuyft won a bronze medal at the UCI Motor-paced World Championships in 1908 in the amateur division; after turning professional he won a silver medal in 1910 and Gold Medal in 1922).
