Certificate issued by the US Navy for crossing the intenational date line for the first time. The "Ruler of the 180th Meridian" was an un-official document issued by Mermaids and Davey Jones to sailors as a commemoration. Different versions were created for different years. This example was issued on the USNS Gen. Daniel L. Sullivan to a William J. Nelson.
